Do you struggle with finding your balance and maintaining peace within?
Everyone’s pursuit for therapy differs – whether one tangible issue has prompted you or you are grappling with a series of existential questions – purpose, identity, faith, doubt, hurt, shame, guilt – I will consistently and reliably join you, providing a safe space to navigate and encourage you along your journey.
My goal as a therapist is to find solutions that work for you on an individual basis, helping you to discover the true potential of your life, so everyday can be a celebration, and feel like a real ‘breath of fresh air.’ There may be no magic button or quick-fix solution when it comes to changing things from the past that have been difficult, but what we can do is work together to find comfort and resolve in the difficult areas of your life, and the challenges you have to face. Through various techniques and long-standing approaches with proven results, we’ll be able to figure out what behaviors and/or thoughts might be holding you back from living your best life, and finding meaning in everyday situations.
Whether you’re looking for support or guidance through a particularly difficult time, or you’re open to a real change in your life and where you’re going, together, we can work to achieve dreams, and meet your goals. Anyone dealing with any type of behavioral or emotional issues, from depression to couple’s counseling, and everything in between, is welcome.
I provide a warm, safe, non-judgmental environment offering support, guidance and practical feedback while you explore those elements that are limiting you. Through therapy you will gain insight, understanding, and clarity. I will help you build self-confidence, find contentment, and take concrete action toward positive change.

I am Licensed as a Psychotherapist providing Individual, Family and Couples therapy. My mission is to help you feel deeply understood and connected – as you gain awareness of how your rational mind, core emotions and body are inextricably linked. Together we can explore ways to bring about a greater self-awareness and encourage more self-empowerment, that you begin to make daily decisions that move you towards the life you desire with deeper joy, fulfillment and balance.
As an experiential clinician, my style is eclectic primarily drawing from strength-based and solution-focused methods with a holistic twist to psychotherapy. The holistic perspective essentially focuses on bringing you into awareness of the connection between your emotions, thoughts, physical experiences and spiritual understands. Knowing that our thoughts, emotions and behaviors essentially create our lives!
I have experience providing individual, couples and family counseling at a wide variety of settings including the following: a residential center, an intensive in-patient program, a community mental health center, an agency, an addiction treatment facility, and in private practice. I believe treating clients in these vastly different environments has enriched the quality of my work and my perspective on life. I feel honored to have worked with a diverse population of clients from whom I have learned so much, and whom I deeply respect.
I offer an experiential and integrative approach to Couples therapy that draws from attachment theory, neurobiology, and developmental psychology. My work is based on highly-specialized training in multiple methodologies that include: EFT (Emotion Focused Couples Therapy), the Gottman Method, the Developmental Model, and Encounter Centered Couples Therapy. Contrary to popular belief, most relationship struggles stem from disconnection between partners, rather than from specific problems or arguments.
Couples therapy involves uncovering and resolving unhelpful patterns, managing differences, and learning to effectively listen and communicate. The most important emphasis is on creating authentic, intimate connection. Couples come to feel emotionally safe and close with one another again, which changes the quality and perceived severity of their problems.
For couples planning to marry, I offer premarital counseling based on the Prepare Enrich curriculum. Prepare Enrich is the global standard in evidence and assessment-based premarital counseling and is designed to help couples build a strong foundation of intimacy and partnership. I also work with couples on the brink of divorce and couples who have already made the decision to divorce.
When couples have made the difficult decision to divorce they can often benefit from Closure Counseling. Closure Counseling offers couples the opportunity to understand their contributions to what didn’t work in the marriage, learn what to take from the marriage going forward, and find a sense of peace. This process can also help divorcing parents communicate their decision to divorce to their children and determine how they will co-parent after the divorce is final.
